Crystal Nails Sculpting forms are made of three layers;
• bottom layer – glue
• middle layer – paper
• top layer – plastic
There are a few characteristics to a nail form that art vital in its quality.
1. The glue used – quality glue is used on all Crystal Nails forms to ensure firm fitting of the wings and help keep the form in the shape required
2. The shape required also can be affected if the wrong paper has been used in the manufacture of the form. If the paper is too thick it will not form a smooth curve, but will hump. If the paper is too thin it will not hold in shape. This difference is only hundredths of millimeters, however it can have a big impact on sculpting performance.
3. Gridlines are universal, however the use of 2 colours to differentiate the working areas are not. These colour bands help precision application.
