Just my thoughts!
When we are new and inexperienced nail technicians, every broken nail can give us a sleepless night We can go over in our heads what have we done, why the nail came off, especially that clients often like to say they just popped off.
If you are 100% sure your prep work was done correctly, your application was correct, then there is no chance nail just came off.
As a nail technician we do everything to assure maximum adhesion of the products to the nail plate.
So if we forced the product off by accident, we knocked the nail, we bit the product off, there is evidence. Can you see where are white marks? And where layers of nails were torn off?
Usually if it is our fault or did some mistakes, liftings appear very quickly after applications, and nails then can just pop off but there will be no big damage to the nail plate.
It is very stressful for us when we see photos clients send as we feel guilty.
I would like to ask clients to be honest with us, if you broke the nail or bit it off, just tell us. Better to be honest, as then we don't have to doubt ourselves.
And technicians , belive in yourself, if you're sure you have done everything correctly, then you don't have to worry. Just accept accidents do happens, fix it and move on.
P.s. photo show my own nail , I was playing with it in my mouth and bit it off (I am a reformed nail bitter)
